Welcome

Metamorphosis! The wonder of seeing a caterpillar change into a butterfly, or discovering new green shoots growing up through the remains of a forest fire, offer hope to us that through struggle or ashes new life can emerge. I work with people age six to ninety who are making their way through life's challenges. During our time together, individuals, couples, families, and groups find help, support, and resources to meet their needs. Clients invite me into their life story and together we combine their efforts, strengths, and insights, with my listening, experience, education, and feedback to accomplish their goals for therapy.

I work with clients from a range of religious/non-religious backgrounds with specialized knowledge in working with people who have a Judeo/Christian worldview, including those with Catholic and Mormon faith backgrounds.

As a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist, my treatment approach is to provide a safe place where clients can feel heard, where they can sort through thoughts, feelings, experiences, and find support along with practical feedback to help them resolve current problems and long-standing patterns they want to change. With sensitivity and compassion, I work with clients as they seek and find solutions to a wide range of life challenges, emotional, and psychological issues.

Blending conventional and alternative approaches, I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. I enable clients to identify and build on their strengths to achieve their therapy goals.
